SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms 

By opting in to receive SMS text messages from The Grand View ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you") agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms govern your participation in the The Grand View SMS messaging program. Please read them carefully before opting in. 

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not opt in to our SMS Program. 

2. The SMS Program 

By opting in, you will receive SMS text messages from The Grand View related to booked events or tours— e.g., "upcoming event reminders, deadlines for event details etc.  

Examples of messages you may receive include: 

  • Your event is only 30 days away! We can't wait to host you. 🎉

    Please log in to your client portal and begin completing your Details Form. Need help? Contact our team anytime, we're happy to assist!

  • Hi [First Name]! This is The Grand View. We'd love to invite you to one of our upcoming After-Hours Tours, where you can explore the venue, meet our team, and envision your special day with us.

    We look forward to meeting you! Reply STOP to opt out.

3. Consent to Receive SMS Messages 

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the opt-in box (or otherwise indicating your consent), you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from The Grand View at the mobile number you provided. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. 

Consent to receive SMS messages is separate from any other terms of service or privacy policies and is obtained through a standalone opt-in process. 

4. Opt-In Methods 

You may opt in to our SMS Program by: 

  • Checking the SMS opt-in checkbox on our website or app sign-up form 

  • Completing a paper or digital consent form 

All opt-in checkboxes are unchecked by default. Consent is never pre-selected. 

5. How to Opt Out (STOP) 

You may opt out of our SMS Program at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. Upon receipt of your STOP request, we will send you a final confirmation message and you will receive no further SMS messages from this program. 

You may also opt out by contacting us at info@thegrandviewmansfield.com with your mobile number and a request to be removed. 

After opting out, if you wish to re-enroll, you may do so by opting in again through one of the methods described in Section 4.

7. Message Frequency 

Message frequency varies based on your relationship with The Grand View and your level of engagement. Prospective clients may receive approximately 1–2 messages per week regarding tours, venue information, events, and follow-up communications. Booked clients typically receive messages on an as-needed basis throughout the planning process, with communication becoming more frequent as their event date approaches.

Additional messages may be sent in response to inquiries, requests for assistance, scheduling updates, or other interactions initiated by you. Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and communication preferences.

8. Costs and Carrier Responsibility 

Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by and payable to your mobile carrier. Check your mobile plan or contact your carrier for details. 

The Grand View is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier in connection with your participation in the SMS Program. 

Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, US Cellular, and other major US carriers. Carrier coverage may vary. 

9. Eligible Users 

The SMS Program is available to residents of the United States only. You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in and participate. By opting in, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and a US resident. 

You must be the account holder or have the permission of the account holder for the mobile number you register. 

10. Privacy 

Your privacy is important to us. Our SMS Privacy Policy, available at www.thegrandviewmansfield.com describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in connection with this program. Your mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. 

No mobile data will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes at any time.

11. Third-Party Service Provider 

We use Twilio, Inc. to deliver SMS messages on our behalf. By participating in our SMS Program, you acknowledge that Twilio may process your mobile number for message delivery purposes. Twilio's use of your data is governed by its own privacy policy and is limited to message delivery. 

12. Prohibited Use 

You agree not to: 

  • Use the SMS Program for any unlawful purpose 

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any aspect of the SMS Program 

  • Provide a mobile number that is not your own or for which you do not have authorization 

  • Use the SMS Program in any manner that could damage the reputation of THE GRAND VIEW or Twilio 

13. Disclaimer of Warranties 

THE SMS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE GRAND VIEW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED ON TIME, OR AT ALL, OR THAT THE PROGRAM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. MESSAGE DELIVERY IS SUBJECT TO EFFECTIVE TRANSMISSION FROM YOUR CARRIER. 

14. Limitation of Liability 

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE GRAND VIEW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SMS PROGRAM. 

15. Governing Law 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of TX without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in TX. 

16. Changes to These Terms 

The Grand View reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and posting the updated Terms at www.thegrandviewmansfield.com. Your continued participation in the SMS Program following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
